Reservations - Skip to Rates

Reservations are required. Monday – Friday, call 913-314-1582. On Weekends, call 660-259-6955 or stop by the house.

We accept cash, and checks with proper ID only, as payment.

To guarantee your room, a deposit of one night’s lodging is required. This deposit is fully refundable if cancelled within seven (7) days of arrival date.

Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 12 Noon.

Rates are for double occupancy. An additional guest can be accommodated in The Library or Dr. Ryland’s room for an additional charge of $45.

Room Rates

Rates include a full country breakfast of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, muffins and breads, fresh fruit, and a breakfast casserole. Join us for complementary snacks in the evening: warm, fresh cookies or a fruit, cheese and cracker platter; whatever suits.

Dr. Ryland’s Room

A large, elegantly appointed aqua upstairs master bedroom with antique Danish pine queen bed. Extra firm mattress, seating area, shared bath just down the hall.
Rate: $85 per night

The Library

A soothing blue and white suite on the main floor with a large private bathroom and King sized bed. This room was a 1960’s addition to Ryland House and served as the Groves sisters’ library.
Rate: $100 per night

Marjorie’s Room

A delightful, light filled, upstairs pink and green room, furnished with a double size four poster iron bed. Firm mattress. Adjacent to Shared bath.
Rate: $75 per night

Helen’s Room

Upstairs robin’s egg blue room with red/white toile curtains. Furnished with a mahogany queen size sleigh bed, firm mattress. Shared bath just down the hall.
Rate: $75 per night

The Root Cellar

Full bath, kitchenet, double butternut maple bed, double futon.
Rate: $50 per night per person. $45 for extra on futon.
